Let books be your dining table, And you shall be full of delights Let them be your mattress And you shall sleep restful nights. 21/365

Reading is the last thing I do at night. I love books, reading them, smelling them, buying them, and giving them as gifts. Old books are filled with so many memories, who knows how many people's lives were changed by that one book. I can tell you there are books that have brought me to tears, and changed me in countless ways.Books contain words that evoke imagination, reality, discussion, knowledge and understanding. I find it difficult to understand when people say that reading is boring, clearly they had not read the right book for them. I hope to instill a love of reading in all my children and sometimes it starts with a silly little book about pink ponies.

  1. I love books, too! I wish I had more time to read for myself {d*&n Flickr!} But the girls love to read and I get lots of opportunities to read to them which is so great!
